Margaret Smith lectures in Liturgical Studies at YTU with a particular interest in the symbolic and ritual nature of the liturgy and rites from sickness through to death. She is a Sister of the Good Samaritan of the Order of St Benedict and, for many years was involved in teaching and administration in secondary schools before working for seven years with the Office for Worship in the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
