Faculty Bourke, Glenda

Glenda Bourke is a Sister of the Good Samaritan of the Order of St Benedict. For many years she was involved in teaching and administration in primary and secondary schools in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.

She joined the YTU faculty in 1995, teaching courses on prophecy with Campion Murray OFM. Since 1997 she has lectured mostly in the New Testament area and enjoys introducing students to the study of the Scriptures. For many years she also delighted in teaching a course on The Gospel of John.

A special interest is that of exploring links and developments between the first and second testaments in courses such as Biblical Justice and the Reign of God, a course that she teaches bi-annually.

Another interest is engaging in adult education in Biblical Studies, both in the parish and in school groups.
