Ross Fishburn has been involved in theological education and ministry formation since 1994. His academic interests are in ecclesiology, ecumenical studies and the history and theology of the Anglican Church, and he has taught in these and other areas of Christian Thought and History. He currently teaches the units CT1/8003Y Beginning With Jesus, and CT2/3/9016Y In Search of a Humbler Church. From 1998-2010 he was Director of Studies in the Theological School at Trinity College, Melbourne while also teaching in the United Faculty of Theology within the MCD. He came to YTU in 2011 as Assistant Dean and became Academic Dean in April 2012. He is a priest of the Anglican Church of Australia of some 35 years standing, and currently is an honorary associate priest at St Paul’s Canterbury where his wife, Rachel McDougall is the Vicar.
